Fran and Tim – The Wedding!

On Christmas day 2008 in an exceptionally muddy field on her dad’s farm, Tim proposed to Fran. He was supposed to be spending Christmas with his family in Kent, but turned up on the doorstep on Christmas eve as a surprise. I hadn’t got him a Christmas present because i didn’t think he would be there, and he gave me an ipod – i felt v lucky and guilty. Then we went for a walk before lunch in the fields. We were squelching ankle deep in mud. He said he was panicking where he’d be able to go down on one knee because it was so deep, and when he spied a bit of clean grass he said he raced us over to it. I was so shocked i forgot to answer, and Tim had to remind me he was waiting for one. I felt even luckier than when i’d opened the i-pod.
I knew Fran and Tim’s wedding would be beautiful as I had been up to her parents home only a couple of weeks previous to do their pre-wedding shoot. Fran showed me all sorts of goodies that her mum had been hard at work making for the big day! It was a job made easy for me with all the gorgeous details and a wonderfully loved up couple.
Thank you for a wonderful day Fran and Tim. Your wedding was magical and I’m so happy you invited me to share it with you x
Gorgeous shoes by Rachel Simpson.

Fran’s Anita Massarella dress was perfect for her day….

Fran’s beautiful flowers were by Alexanders Flowers, Corbridge.
The bridesmaid dresses were by Two Birds and Fran’s wow necklace was from The Jewellers Guild.

Everybody wanted a shot in the cornflower field. One of the best back drops I’ve ever had!
How romantic, a love teepee for their first night together as Mr and Mrs. The corn dolly heart were made by Fran’s mum.

The Cake Garden created their fabulous wedding cake.
I still feel awful that I got Tim and Fran to walk through this soaking field, hence Fran being lifted. Tim’s trousers were soaked through. Damn photographers and their visions………it was all worth it in the end though!!

I was a few years above all these beautiful ladies at school, I can’t believe how grown up we all are now. Looking good girls!

Stunning… gorg pics as ever Katy and the wedding looked beautiful! x
